When Our Crew Arrives, the Site Keeps Running

You do not pick a subcontractor by the hourly rate. You pick one based on what happens when an inspection walks onto the site, when someone climbs into a MEWP without a licence, or when the schedule starts slipping. Those three things land on your desk, not ours. That is why we settle them before we arrive.

Documents Are Handed Over Before We Start, Not During an Inspection

Before the crew first drives onto site, you get a named list of our people and their documents. Dozens of our fitters hold a valid MEWP operator licence (IPAF) — every crew has an operator with a valid card on site, not someone who "can handle it too". Your safety coordinator ticks it off once, at the start, and never comes back to it.

Posting Workers Abroad Is Our Problem, Not Yours

We install in 16 countries and we handle posting in-house — A1 certificates as well as the notification duties of the country we are working in. It is not outsourced to an agency and it does not start a week before mobilisation. What you get from us is a date, not an explanation.

What it looks like when someone underestimates it: on a site in Slovenia an inspection stopped two crews from other suppliers over missing A1 certificates and issued fines. Our people carried on working. The full story and what the A1 certificate actually is.

Where There Is Welding, a Certified Welder Turns Up

When the installation involves welding, we send welders certified to EN ISO — TIG and orbital welding, stainless steel and aluminium. Anchoring is done to certified chemical anchor systems and the manufacturer's data, not to a judgement call on site. That difference only shows up at handover or at the first inspection — and by then there is no catching up.

Why We Say This Out Loud

Because a subcontractor is chosen on risk, not on the hourly rate. Between the cheapest and the second cheapest bid there are usually a few percent. Between a site that keeps running and a site stopped by an inspection or an accident there are weeks — and it will be your person explaining it to your client, not us. The paperwork nobody sees until something happens is exactly the part of the price that is not worth saving on.
